Fawn Mckay

Fawn MCK Brodie was born 15th September 1915 at Ogden Utah. Fawn was a part of the Mormon church's most prestigious family, was able to combine her literary expertise and impressive research skills into an outstanding biography of Joseph Smith. No Man knew My History appeared in 1945. This title is derived from a funeral sermon delivered by the founding father of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844 when he startled his listeners by declaring"You don't know me" I never told you about my heart. Nobody knows my past. I can't tell. I wrote the 29-year-old Fawn: Since that moment of candor at least three-score writers have taken up the gauntlet. A lot of people have detested him while some have praised. There are a few who have come to the diagnosis. The documents aren't there, it's that they are so contradictory. Assembling these documents - sifting through first-hand and third-hand sources, fitting Mormons' tales of the past to those of non-Mormons into a true history - is challenging. It is both fascinating and educational. Fawn Brodie's career was dedicated to this goal. Thaddeus S. Stevens is immortalized in her works and the fruit of her research. Scourge of the South (1959) The Devil Drives. Thomas Jefferson. A personal biography of Richard Nixon (1974) as well as posthumously Richard Nixon.
