Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in Australia, is a model and actress. Her fame was first noticed in Australia through her character Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap opera Neighbors in a series of ten episodes that were broadcast from 2006 to 2007. In Hollywood the actress began her career with two different projects. First was Hollywood & Wine with which she played a young hopeful actress. Scrubs ninth season, Maya plays the main persona. But the show abruptly ended. Then she continued to film a Farrelly Brothers comedy Good to Shoot, which starred Jason Sudeikis and Owen Wilson. Then she played in B-series film and short series. The year 2013 brought increased exposure. She was a part on seven episodes on Franklin and Bash and landed her first ever regular part in Chosen. Milo Ventimiglia played the lead. She is also Chad Michael Murray's answer in the two first seasons. Then, she appeared in two other film features with an airplane setting. She is a pilot. Matador is a tv show which she co-created with Gabriel Luna. The duration of the season of this action thriller created by Robert Rodriguez, wherein actors take on the role as CIA Agents, is thirteen episodes. A pilot of a different show, which has not had much success, is in development. In 2015, she shared posters for the B Series romantic comedy Borrowed Moments along with Brian Krause. In the same year, she starred on Witness for Rent wearing Kevin Hart Josh Gad Kaoco. She also appears in the massive release of Terrence Malcolmick's experiment Knight of Cups. Also, she appears in five of the Satisfaction episodes.
