StephanieStephanie Sigman, a Mexican-American actress. Her debut role was in the film Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film Miss Bala. The actress went on to play in Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015), Going Under (2016) as well as Annabelle: Creation (2017). Sigman was the main character in Narcos (2015), S.W.A.T. (2017) and the second season of both of the series. Sigman was the daughter of her Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman (a New York Yankees Scout from Kansas) and Lee Sigman, who were both born in Ciudad Obregon. Sigman is an American citizen by virtue of her father. [2][3][4] Her brother and the baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was previously married to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career appearing on Mexican TV before making her film debut in Rio de Oro. In 2011, she played the leading role of Laura Guerrero in the Mexican crime drama film Miss Bala. Six years ago, the Mexican entry for Best Foreign Language Film was picked at the 84th Academy Awards. [7][8] But it did not make it to the final shortlist. For her film performance, Sigman was nominated in 2011 for the Dublin Film Critics Circle Award. [10][11] In 2011 she starred as Catalina Aguado, the Canadian documentary film Flight of the Butterflies. In 2013, Sigman starred with Pioneer the film, an Norwegian thriller.
