Lars Mikkelsen-1Lars Dittmann Mikkelsen, born 6 May 1964 is a Danish actor. He is a Danish actor who has played Troels Hartmann Copenhagen's mayoral candidate in The Killing. [1] Charles Augustus Magnussen was the third series of Sherlock. Viktor Petrov, the Russian president, was portrayed in American House of Cards. Star Wars Rebels featured Grand Admiral Thrawn as Thrawn. He was given the Reumert Prize of Honour in 2011. At 27 years old He enrolled in the National Theatre School of Denmark. He graduated from the school in 1995. In addition to his part in The Killing, [1] he also appeared in Borgen III, a Danish drama series that was well-received. He also played a central part in an episode of BBC drama Sherlock as the blackmailer Charles Magnussen.In the American television series House of Cards, he played the president of Russia. In 2018, he received an International Emmy Award. His part in the Danish TV drama Herrens Veje was rewarded with an International Emmy Award. The show aired in the UK in 2019under the title Ride Upon the Storm.
